The Role:-
For the 3 Infrastructure Project Managers or Infrastructure Architects or Datacentre Transition/Transformation Programme Managers to deliver a large Infrastructure and Datacentre transition programme.
Project Manager -
*To provide quality assurance, project co-ordination and reporting with particular emphasis on Project resourcing and progress.
*Proactively monitoring all Projects that have an actual/potential impact the infrastructure
*Ensuring all projects have correct Infrastructure resource and are delivered on time.
*Understand project pipeline and ensure resources are available in a timely manner
*Ensure compliance with the agreed PMO Collaboration model
*Overall Management of the Service Improvement Projects
*Management and reporting of project progress,
Responsibilities -
*Co-ordination with both Demand Managers and Project Managers
*Initiating extra activities and other management interventions when issues arise.
*Working closely with both the on-site and off-site Infrastructure team leads
*Collating and circulating weekly progress reports
*Working as a key member of the account team.
*Working closely with the customer retained organisation
Infrastructure Architect -
*Manage the development of complex technical solutions for enterprise customers
*Provide advice and guidance to the customer on infrastructure related projects
*Understand the customer requirements and be able to translate that into a technology based solution
*Understand customer requirements and develop a provided solution
*Work with existing customers to identify service improvement projects
Responsibilities -
*Working as a key member of the account team.
*Working closely with the customer retained organisation.
*Provide solutions that make the optimum use of the technology to ensure the highest levels of service at the lowest cost
*Maintain detailed knowledge of the relevant industry trends
*Understanding current customer as-is environment, interpret this information to form a to-be architecture

Transition/Transformation Program Director -
*Ensuring transition/transformation services are delivered in line with the agreed project plan
*Manage communication with the customer and internally
*Leadership of transition/transformation teams for clients
Responsibilities -
*Accountable for managing the transition/transformation programs
*Working as a key member of the account team.
*Working closely with the customer retained organisation
*Directly responsible for the staff working onshore.
*Responsible for the service delivered by the offshore team
*Identify opportunities for to reduce costs without impacting upon the quality of the transition/transformation delivered
*Escalation of issues to both the customer and internally.
Key Skills -
*Should have successfully managed and completed at least 1 datacentre transformation project involving minimum 500 physical Servers
*Extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure, applications support and service management.
*Experience of having delivered large transitions/transformation
Experience required -
*Experience of leading large teams.
*Experience of IT projects with teams spread over multiple locations
*Experience of multiple technologies
*Gained thru 10+ years in an IT role.
*Broad experience of the IT industry, markets, trends, technologies and their implications.
*Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through relationship management and networking
*Experience in the Telco environment, able to demonstrate the unique nature of supplying IS services to Telco customers
*Formal project management qualifications
