Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 30% Provide support for user and system problems, troubleshooting for one or more monitoring tools.
- Escalates issues for resolution when necessary. Participate in planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.
- 30% Participate in development and implementation activities for monitoring applications.
- Evaluate new tools, policies, and procedures. Provide design recommendations for new and existing tools.
- 20% Work with Application Owners to identify business requirements for monitoring applications. Recommend monitoring tools needed to achieve the desired solution for the client.
- 20% Provide mentoring and guidance to less-experienced team members in supporting the monitoring solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Comp Sci, IS, or job related field OR Required
- extra 4 years job related work exp OR Required
- 4 years of combined education & experience Required
- IT experience including technical support, and/or client relations Required 4 Years
- Coding experience in Java, C++, or Perl Required
- Understanding of Servers, networks, IP''s Required
