For our client in Noord Brabant, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Sap ABAP specialist
Candidate Role Responsibility
In the role of Developer (CG SAP Development, offshore) you will be responsible for:
- Develop technical solutions according technical design/functional requirements in SAP R/3 using ABAP/4 language
- Technical Design support
- Advise Senior IT Specialist on aspects of quote and planning
- Technical expertise on new technologies (hands-on)
Knowledge/experience SAP Developer
- Have relevant working experience as an SAP developer in:
- SAP R/3 environments, in releases 4.6C to ECC 6.0
- In Projects (eg implementation, rollout, upgrade, merger projects)
- Global environment involving an offshore component
- Expert knowledge of OO concepts and UML
- Sound knowledge of interfaces: IDOCs, ALE, EDI
- Be able and willing to travel maximum 10-15% of time;
- Be able and willing to be available outside of normal office hours incidentally;
- Helpful but not absolutely required:
- One or more of CRM, BW, APO, SRM, SAP Portal
- Several areas like FI/CO, SD, MM, and CS.
- Have knowledge of non-SAP programming/Scripting languages
(like Java, Flex, Unix Scripts, XML, XSLT) - Have knowledge of infrastructure components
(like SAP Basis, SAP transport system, WAN, Firewalls, network storage)
