This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems.
The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter.
This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows.
Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with developers and project manager to understand the feature set in depth
- Creat test plans, test cases and other software test documents based on requirements and specification in an AGILE environment
- File and track bugs through resolution
- Review software build/release log information
- Automate test cases and processes using Scripting languages
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of commercial experience testing complex applications
- Understanding of and experience with C, C++, and/or C# language
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Understanding of and experience with AGILE software development process, SQA methodologies techniques and approaches
- Experience with issue/bug tracking tools, project team collaboration and project management
Desired Skills:
- Some Scripting knowledge preferred
- Experience using the Quality Center tool
Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineer/computer science or equivalent
