Job Description
Position requires a unique combination of (a.) technical aptitude with (b.) strong leadership/project management skills and (c.) excellent business/customer facing skills. Position will be responsible to lead technology teams for the analysis, design and development of the associated processes, metrics and other solutions, working closely with business clients to manage and address their requirements, and direct the implementation of new capabilities. Accountable to the Business/Technology Sponsor for the production of deliverables within agreed time-scale, and budget. Responsible for understanding project goals, risks, technical and resource requirements.
Qualifications
- Deep and broad leadership background with experience in both hands-on and leadership roles working with relevant enterprise technologies
- Proven track record of managing/delivering large programs to meet business needs and drive increased business value
- Good user requirements analysis skills and the ability to build strong user relationships
- Strong project management experience and proven track record on delivering projects and applications successfully- must OWN projects and DRIVE execution
- Must work well under pressure with the ability to manage multiple deliverables efficiently and effectively.
- Direct results through matrixed teams
- Develop a communication plan to ensure that all participants and stakeholders stay informed of the plans, progress, dependencies, issues, risks etc.
- Monitor and report Project Status to all participants and Senior Management
- Financial services experience a significant plus, or ability to work within this complex and accelerated environment
- Strong collaboration skills required; must be a team player (required to work extensively with other teams both locally and globally).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver programs using "influence" rather than organizational hierarchical control
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Excel expertise, Powerpoint proficient
- Can demonstrate knowledge of database methods/strategy (SQL skills and coding experience with "Flex" a plus)
