Job Scope and Accountabilities:

  • Be responsible to provide guidance to all staff involved in all aspects of Change Management
  • Be the key driver in the development of strategies, and processes to ensure all changes are managed in a controlled and documented manner
  • Liaise closely with the other Business Unites

Duties:

  • Be responsible for all Change Management activities, to include new business planning, Change Advisory Board (CAB), the production of management information, Request For Changes (RFCs) and a change schedule for systems managed and support by Corporate IT&T
  • Chair of the CAB
  • Review, document and publish Change Management standards, Change Management plans and procedures, ensuring that these documents are updated as and when appropriate.
  • Ensure the defined Change Management processes and procedures are adhered to by IT&T staff carrying out their tasks and where appropriate initiate appropriate training to rectify non-conformance.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are Change Sponsors.
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
  • To take responsibility for the research and development of the change programs ensuring best fit for the organisation.
  • To continuously evaluate all existing processes and procedures to ensure that Change Management is being carried out in the most efficient and effective manner and initiate appropriate corrective action.
  • Provide admin support for the Service Management Tool, ServiceNow

Key Competencies:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant experience;
  • ITIL Certification;
  • Experience in Technical Change Management;
  • Experience with Change management systems; Deciding and Initiating Action
  • Working with People
  • Adhering to Principles and Values
  • Writing and Reporting
  • Coping with Pressures and Setback

Other:

  • Self motivated able to work unsupervised whilst managing a range of stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong customer service mentality;
