Electrical Shift Technician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician

Location: Atherstone

Salary: £13.96 per hour

3 Shift System - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am weekly rotating pattern.

3 Month Contract

The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in innovative global technology solutions as a Electrical Shift Technician. The company is committed to developing practical technology solutions for a global market. Our client is looking for a number of electrical shift technicians to join there team on a 3 month contract.

The role: As electrical shift technician you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance checks on a range of pneumatic and hydraulic tools and other manufacturing machinery within a FMCG environment. The electrical shift technician will utilise SCADA and Plc systems to diagnose and repair the manufacturing machinery. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will liaise closely with Quality and engineering departments to ensure that there is minimal destruction to production activities, when dealing with planned maintenance and breakdowns.

The Candidate: An experienced electrical maintenance professional, you should have experience of problem solving and fault finding on a range of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Educated to apprentice level and above in a relevant engineering and maintenance discipline, you will be able to effectively diagnose equipment problems and repair these problems as required.

Commutable: Atherstone, Leicester, Birmingham and Coventry
