Job Description:
Follow customer provided procedures to assist with rolling out Windows 7 to 1100 PCs in the Vance, AL.
Primary responsibility is to work off hours on the 6PM to 3AM shift to ensure that the migration process successfully kicks off on the target machines. They will perform basic troubleshooting to resolve any issues and work with other L2 or L3 resources as smart hands to address more complex issues.
Skill Set:
- 1 year of experience in an IT environment supporting end users.
- Customer service oriented approach.
- Experience with installation of both desktop and laptop hardware. This will also include: peripheral devices (monitor, keyboard, mouse, docking station, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot Windows issues related to hardware/software installations.
- Understanding of BIOS configurations, Windows software installations, External device driver installations, and Domain user profiles.
- Ability to perform lifting of 20lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces
Candidate needs to be on site full time in Vance, AL Prefer a candidate willing to work the night shift (6PM to 3AM). Can change this to a rotating schedule. In this scenario they would work the night shift 1/3 of the time.
It is required that all contractors complete a background check and drug screen report. They must pass a drug screen with a positive clearance and the background check without the following convictions on their record.
