LTE Optimisation Engineer required for a 12 month contract in Virginia for a worldly renowned consultancy.
Candidate must have LTE Huawei vendor experience.
*UMTS Pre-Launch optimization and tuning
*UMTS Post-launch optimization to make green all major KPIs (V-ACC, V-RET, HSDPA data Volume, Voice Erlang) in less than 1 week after on-air
*Traffic balancing between different carriers
*Propagation delay investigation of different carriers
*Finding SHO missed neighbors by WNCS and COPS
*IRAT and IFHO performance investigation
*Coverage/Interference Model by using RMAP
*Verifying operator request for general parameter changes in the network
*Parameter tuning suggestion to market
*Weekly meeting with market and vendor
*Verifying COPS tools in terms of: formulas, optimization options and new additional options
*Work on "Top Offender" cells
*Counter analysing to find out problem root
*Work on "TBF Offenders" to improve the network Data Performance
*Work on different scripts to can find out the "Zero Traffic' cells and "Halted" cells
*Provide the list of cells that need T1 expansion, Radio Addition by analysing long-term KPI
*Suggest new items for COPS
*Optimization training for the all RF engineers
