Description
A leading Financial Services company is seeking a Cognos Developer for 3 months initially with prospects of extension. Working in a small team, the role requires you to analyse and develop reports/Dashboard for the business to ensure the successful delivery of reporting requirements whilst supporting user acceptance testing and end user training (if required).
Responsibilities include:
- Cognos8 and 10 reports are required to be delivered as part of a BAU stream.
- Primary focus will be Cognos Reports development (Framework manager, Query studio, Transformer, Cognos Dashboard)
- Analyse relevant work requests from the business, and tracking progress through to closure
- Assist in documenting detailed user requirements and maintain a Reporting Catalogue
- Document test plans and scripts
- Analyse and address production defects and issues
- Provide end user support as required
- Provide estimates and assist in the preparation of project plans
Skills
- 4+yrs Cognos experience, including experience on v8 and 10
- TM1 experience is highly desirable
- Banking and Finance experience
- Excellent communication skills
