Description
Green Light is looking for a number of Storage Engineers to join its consultancy division to work on a number of upcoming project based work with our clients. You will have a background of working on various government accounts around the Canberra market, and know it well. You will be looking for a new contract engagement over the coming months. Responsible for planning, designing, administration and support of the storage infrastructure technologies. Works directly with management and users to analyze and specify technology opportunities and make system recommendations. Prepares and plans for disaster recovery, storage capacity, and provides performance analysis. Ensures a high level of security, storage availability, and reliability of storage infrastructure. Prepares project plans, provides estimates for project tasks and assists with prioritization in relation to capacity planning, performance analysis.
Required Experience:
Currently security cleared
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Networking protocols, clustering, replication, encryption, tape/disk drives, and backup and restore technologies from NetApp and Commvault
Key stakeholder engagement
Technology related degree
Minimum 4 years experience as a Storage Engineer
Strong time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Results driven
Self motivation and ability to prioritize work
