We are currently looking to recruit a Senior SAP Lead Consultant role for MP&L (PP/iPPE/APO-PPDS & Material Logistics), to support our continued growth in this territory.
Job Description
SAP MP&L expert - design and developing SAP MP&L solutions around complex manufacturing implementations. High competence levels in designing, building, and integrating solutions in: Plan to Produce, Production planning, master data, manufacturing execution, product costing, inventory. APO and WM knowledge. Deep knowledge on integration technologies.
Lead Functional Consultant is responsible for the execution of the detail design and configuration of the current business processes in SAP's ECC6 (PP, iPPPE, APO- PPDS) ERP product.
This includes
- Working with Business & Program/Project Management team to implement MP&L processes
- Involve with Project plan preparation, Lead MP&L workshops with business, third party IT systems
- Working with the Team in the analysis and decomposition of current business processes, perform the Scripting exercises, and design and configure the SAP's ECC6 system to support the organization's "To-Be" process vision. This implies providing design for integration with all upstream and downstream processes.
- Fit gap analysis and solution design.
- Involved in design of (RICEFW) reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
- Execution of the system unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing. This includes performing the test, making changes in configuration based on results, and error resolution.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to validate business design with the business community.
- Working with the end user documentation team in the identification of business processes and system tasks to be documented as well as providing training to the end user training and development team.
- Design Authorization profiles
- Co-ordination with on-site and offshore team for technical design
- Provide post-implementation production support.
Job specific
- Must be an experienced system user of Manufacturing. Must have Very good knowledge of SAP - PP, iPPE, APO-PPDS namely
a. Good knowledge of Hierarchical and variant structure BOM
b. Variant Configuration
c. IS Auto iPPE structure
d. Production Planning with APO (PP/DS)
e. Material Planning- Deterministic, Consumption based forecast and Reorder point planning
f. Production Execution in Automotive Industry - Goods Movements
- Cross functional knowledge of Materials management and product costing
Qualification and experience
- BE/MBA
Experience - Minimum 4 to 6 years domain and 7 to 10 years in SAP preferably from automotive sector or engineering Industry. Should have worked in the capacity of SAP PP Functional consultant on minimum 2 Large SAP Implementation project life cycles. Experience in variant configuration and IS Auto iPPE is must. Experience/exposure in APO in PPDS will be added advantage.
