EUV Source Integrator for Mechatronics

Introduction

My Client deals with areas that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or microchips. designs, develops, integrates, markets and services these advanced systems, which enable its customers - the major chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of microchips, and consumer electronic equipment.

Job Description

As EUV source integrator you'll work within a multidisciplinary projecteam, where your prime daily interfaces will be with colleagues from MTD and software department. You will be coupled to an experienced MTD designer, and as a subteam of two people you will be responsible for: Specification of required tests for mechatronic (sub-)modules for own integration work, factory and customer support. Specification of software interfaces, required for testsoftware/scripts Create and maintain software scripts in Matlab and or Python to implement the above (this is your prime task). Execute above mentioned tests during own integration activities. Provide support to D&E colleagues in integration phase based on knowledge obtained by the above activities. Provide (on site) support to suppliers and customers based on knowledge obtained by the above activities

Education

Technical University MSc (0..4 years experience) or BSc Software Engineering (6+ years experience) and/or Mechatronics and/or or Electrical Engineering

Experience

You have knowledge in software engineering including handson experience in Matlab and Python programming and preferably also in C/C++, in the application domain of high tech machinery equipment. You are familiar with integration activities carried out under high time pressure, and you are flexible regarding making incidental overtime, and willing to travel and stay abroad during 1 to 2 weeks per 2 months to support suppliers and customers.

You are highly motivated, enthusiast, flexible and a good communicator. You can think broad, learn fast, take responsibility, act decisive and show critical sense in determining your own and (sub-)team priorities. You can speak and write good in English.

Context of the position

Within the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the design of the products. In this sector you are surrounded with top technicians from all over the world, with whom you work together to develop future technology and processes. The department Mechatronics Systems Development (MTD) is responsible for specification, design, integration and qualification of the mechatronics sub-systems and components which are fitted into the end products. The main focus is on nanometer-accuracy positioning of high speed components for transporting/positioning of wafers and reticles and adjustments of optical elements. One of the projects in which MTD is involved is the EUV source project which is in the integration phase, which will followed by production ramp up phase early 2013.
