Job Summary
The E-commerce Programmer/Developer will work with a fast paced global team to support our clients worldwide E-commerce program. This position will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing E-commerce/EDI applications.
Essential Job Functions
The E-commerce Programmer/Developer will be programming in Cobol and CL on the iSeries; mapping of ANSI and EDIFACT data using the Extol software package. Current processes will be migrated from the iSeries to Oracle within the next two years. Java and Javascript programming will be used to support XML/RosettaNet partners. This position will also be responsible for complex mapping of transactions/messages for various business processes such as Purchase Orders, Acknowledgments, Change Orders, Forecasting, Invoicing, Shipping, Inventory and Remittance Applications. The top four skills needed for this position are AS400, Cobol, EDI & Extol.
Education & Experience
Requirements: BS in Computer Science or related field + 6 years of overall related experience.
Preferred: 6+ years of overall related experience.
Skills & Abilities
Requirements: The following experience & abilities are required for a successful candidate.
- 4+ Years of hands on experience with AS400/iSeries using Cobol & CL
- 3+ Years of hands on experience with EDI using ANSI and EDIFACT standards
