Unix Systems Engineer: Unix, Aix, Linux, virtualization, PowerHA
Unix, Aix, Linux, PowerVM, PowerHA. We are currently looking for several experienced Unix engineers for a 7 months initial contract position in Brussels.
Tasks of UNIX SW engineer include:
- Install/maintain/upgrade UNIX system (AIX/Linux)
- Install/maintain/upgrade of virtualization layer (PowerVM)
- Install/maintain/upgrade of HA layer (PowerHA)
- Level 2 and Level 3 problem solving
- Application assistance for SAP/DB/messaging/monitoring
- Assistance application migration
- Security and APAR management
- User management
- Participation backup and restore documentation
- Participation DR planning and execution
- End-to-end SLA responsibility
