Description
For one of our customers TFC - Talent Force Cooperation - is looking for several Unix (AIX) administrators.
The Unix(AIX) administrator role is responsible for the security, maintenance and support of pSeries AIX/Linux systems across our customer base. As your skills and experience increase you will participate in other tasks as agreed.
You will be responsible to perform systems administration including performance, capacity, supportability, cost efficiency, security and optimization of the environment within customer guidelines. In addition you may be assigned to work within project/s where you will be required to ensure project deliverables are achieved within the timelines and budget specified. You will be responsible to ensure that implemented solutions follow the required processes to be supportable within the standards and tooling defined. You will be expected to assist wherever needed in incidents or changes which cannot be resolved by the team, and will assist in critical situations should they occur. You will have a leading role as knowledge expert for the team and will seek ways to share this knowledge.
Hard skills:
- UNIX (AIX) experience in a complex (virtualized) environment.
- Linux experience.
- Experienced using: CTRL-M scheduling IBM Fault Analyser, TWS (Tivoli Workload scheduler), MainView, etc.
- Knowledge of HTML, Universal Command, PRISMA (Peregrine Service Centre).
- Financial Banking knowledge.
- Testing applications (Multiplatform and/or chained' applications).
- ITIL concept knowledge.
- Knowledge Microsoft Windows environments.
- Prince2 knowledge & certification.
