Description
Our client is looking for an SDET for a 6+ month contract. Candidates must be on site for the first 2 week sprint and then 2-3 days per week after that.
Objective: guide and lead the teams included in construction of the continuous performance testing harness
Detailed Description: this person will be expected to comprehend the interconnected technologies used to implement the automated performance testing harness and related. Special emphasis on performance test design, automated performance testing, performance results analysis and remediation is a requirement.
Skills: open-source development, customization, automated testing, test tool development
Experience: 3-4 years as developer with emphasis on automated testing and automating test processes
Must have Skills:
- JavaScript
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Test automation
Tools & Technology:
Must have worked with at least a couple of the following:
Unit Performance Testing, Custom/Home Grown/DIY Tools, JMeter, Selenium, SoapUI/LoadUI, DataPlot, DynaTrace, Java, Scala, Unix Shell (Solaris/Mac/RedHat), MySQL and/or Oracle, Confluence/Wiki Development, Reporting/Graphing, Maven, Bamboo, Subversion, Capistrano
Additional Notes:
- Target start date is Sept 10th or 17th
- Resource will be required to be on-site for the first 2 week sprint
- On-site an average of 3 days per week or less after that
