ADGA is looking for a Software Programmers for an exciting new opportunity!
Duration of Assignment: one (1) year, with three (3) options years
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Ottawa National Capital Region
Security Clearance: Must be hold a valid Secret clearance
As the Junior and Senior Software Programmers you may be required to provide integration and interoperability support to the ITB and JBL as C4ISR systems and prototype software systems are added, modified, or integrated. They may be required to apply standard engineering methods and techniques for solving problems, and implementation of test, and validation designs. They may also be required to support developers and designers in carrying out application development analysis and design, to provide extensive user support for application usage such as scenario development and generation, to help install and configure application architecture and provide first line debug support. The Software Programmers may support the design of new tools to be integrated into the test bed, as well as provide integration recommendations for bringing GOTS and COTS tools into the test bed.
The Successful candidates must have the following:
- Minimum of six (6) months experience creating or modifying source code to provide software solutions for business, scientific or technical requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months experience integrating new elements into existing software architecture.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience investigating security issues associated with exchange of information at different levels and between different domains
- Minimum of six (6) months experience developing or evaluating design specifications for new software systems or subsystems.
In order to be considered for this opportunity of a Junior and Senior Software Programmer you MUST have one of the following:
- A degree from a Canadian University OR
- A diploma from a Canadian college OR
- A Canadian Forces Command and Staff College qualifications
