We are currently searching for a Senior Project Manager to work in Brussels, Belgium for 3-4months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
Tasks and Responsibilities
The senior project manager will be responsible for delivery of the project in line with the client's governance processes:
* Lead the project execution according to the agreed PID (Project Initiation Document) with a particular focus on the business-aspects of the project
* Control and follow-up of project planning and according budget
* Detailed planning and progress reporting (Status Reports, Exception Reports)
* Review of key project deliverables
* Organise, facilitate & follow-up fortnightly Steering Committees
* Manage risks/issues/changes within the project
* Coordinate project milestone reviews & project close-out
* Coordinate rollout & according communication plan with all business stakeholders
* Coordinate with all supplying parties on all project activities
* Manage and coach project team
* Ensure communication within the project, including reporting of progress, budget, issues/risks, scope evolution.
Required
* Bachelor or Masters
* At least 5 years experience in a similar position or within project organisation (within the financial industry)
* Multilingual: Dutch, French & English (given the "domestic" character of the project, meaning the project perimeter being Belgium)
* Prince2/PMI certification is considered as an advantage
* Experience in projects covering account- &/or mandates-related services are a distinct advantage
