Project Description:
- In this path finding effort, Intranet Search team would like to explore some architecture concepts of simplifying secure search by leveraging the centralized content repository and the security encapsulated via content metadata and rule based entitlement determination. The POC will probe the best methods of a) crawling and acquiring content and meta data into a search index, b) querying the secure content index c) serving search results based on user authentication via Kerberos, d) run time entitlement validation and the invocation of the appropriate browsing interface based on user interaction with the search result
Daily Responsibilities:
- Development, coding, investigation effort and coding effort
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
- Strong experience in developing enterprise web services preferably using .NET passing user credentials via various security protocols and in particular Kerberos tokens in a multi-tiered infrastructure environment. Experience with Search engine integration and search engine connectors is a must. Knowledge in the content management systems and content metadata management will be a plus. Communication/influencing skills necessary to work with the content management and search team and with strong skills in problem solving, requirements gathering and pioneering POCs..
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
- Good understanding of enterprise content entitlement models, authentication via single sign on and access control methods will be a plus.
