SQL DBA
CPL Solutions currently have an urgent requirement for a Senior SQL DBA to work an Initial 4 month contract role for a client based in Dublin, Ireland. This position will be primarily focused in the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of managing and supporting a large, transaction-intensive database environment
Skills/Experience required:
- SQL Server experience with a strong relational database background
- Excellent performance tuning and optimisation skills
- Solid experience with disaster recovery methods and capacity planning
- Worked in a very large database environment +/- 10 TB
- Some Datamodelling experience
- SQL Server clustering
- T-SQL savvy
- Datawarehouse experience, a plus
- Windows Server and SQL Server experience
- Common sense and trustworthiness
- Ability to work well with other highly talented individuals
