Wayleave Officer
A Leading Energy Provider has an urgent request for a Wayleave Officer in either Currie or Glasgow for a contract position to the end of the Year.
The primary objective of the post is to secure wayleaves and necessary permissions required for the delivery of capital projects on existing and proposed distribution infrastructure developments and renewable connections. To provide day-to-day specialist wayleave management and record and manage distribution operational assets. The post holder must ensure compliance with Company Policy, particularly Grantor's Charter, contractual obligations and statutory regulations. The role also includes wayleave project Management
You will possess knowledge of the following (not limited to):
- Electricity Act (as amended by Utilities Act 2000).
- Town and Country Planning Act
- Planning Regulations.
- Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Agricultural and forestry practices.
- Wayleave valuation and payment rates.
- Distribution assets and construction methods.
- Compensation code
- Awareness of Wayleave Policies.
- Awareness of Grantor's Charter.
- Planning of new distribution routes in conjunction with engineers, environmental and other relevant parties.
- Preparation of relevant information related to obtaining compulsory consents, compulsory purchase orders and serving of notices.
The successful candidate will have a requirement to respond to a number of different challenges in this role.
