The group in which the Mechanical Engineer will be working is responsible for developing and maintaining 2-way analog/digital radios and small system communication products used in conventional and trunked markets.
a. Proficiency in Pro-E Wildfire with strong skills in wireframe and solids modelling.
b. Must be able to design injection molded plastic parts, knowledgeable in injection molded tooling requirements and plastic design guidelines. Must know tolerancing.
c. Pro-Engineer (Pro/E) experience required.
d. Thermal expertise. Natural convection and forced convection systems, cooling fin design. Blower fan experience. PCB heat sinking methods. Required to have experience with ANSYS Icepak. Desired to have experience with fan cooled rack mount systems.
