Seeking Four (4) Software Build Managers as the central point of control and communication for application software deployment efforts. Will coordinate with the appropriate parties and directs the efforts of multiple teams responsible for planning, analysing, and developing solutions to integrate technical, business and system needs. Responsible for the integrity of the software build and deploy processes and overall quality of code versioning and integration across development, test and production environments.

Major Job Functions/Components:

• Assurance of code interoperability in multiple environments and configurations.
• Administers and maintains version control, version control software and code repository.
• Provides oversight in the branching and versioning of code build to development staff.
• Audits configuration controlled artifacts.
• Contributes to the maintenance of standard development and test environments.
• Plays an active role in complex design and code reviews of software.
• Manages, maintains and improves automated code deployment practices across AIX, iSeries and Mainframe environments.
• Works closely with the development team on best practices and processes.
• Ensures complete release notes pertaining to a development "Bill of Materials" and works closely with the test organizations to manage software movement through test and production environment.

Required and Desired Skills List:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of information systems, systems analysis and design and/or development experience.
• 3 years prior software development experience.
• If no degree, 7 years systems analysis and design and/or software development experience.
• Working knowledge of at least two operating systems.
• Regarding environments: Java or iSeries or Mainframe

PREFERRED:

• Serena Dimensions, PVCS and Rational development/deployment tools experience.
• JAVA, XML,.NET, Cobol, Services Oriented Architecture, Oracle, DB2, Quality Center/Test Director, LoadRunner.
