Position Title: Enterprise Architect
Duration: Contract- 6 months
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a 6 month contract in Alpharetta, GA. This role will be responsible for the planning and implementation of comprehensive technology solutions that meet our clients' business requirements on high-impact projects. The Enterprise Architect will provide guidance and architectural oversight during the detailed architecture design, application design, build, and testing and deployment phases.

Enterprise Architect Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end technical solutions that take into account the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints; analyze the viability of the solution to meet program timeline, budget and quality
- Work with Data Architecture, Security Architecture and Infrastructure SME's to ensure that all aspects of the solution architecture are defined and elaborated
- Lead multiple technology groups and vendors to ensure that the application, integration, infrastructure and security architectures are designed to meet evolving business requirements, standards for reliability, scalability and availability
- Identify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement emerging IT trends, developments and improvements/solutions by buying, building or reusing
- Assist project teams with establishing standard process and defining all development infrastructure including Servers, tiered environments, migration standards, and version control standards
- Provide technical support to IT management and developers to ensure efficient applications and adherence to standards
- Partner with other Enterprise Architects by: ensuring all deviations are identified and approved; identifying gaps in current standards/services and negotiating enterprise vs. project solutions and developing standard application architectures, frameworks and development standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 8-10 years of IT solution delivery, preferably playing a diverse set of roles (eg programmer, architect, project manager)
- Experience with Red Hat Linux, VMware, Apache required
- Strong experience with Web applications and Java is a must (5+ years of experience, preferably 10)
- Experienced with all aspects of architecture including application, data, security and infrastructure
- Experienced with program/projects involving complex integration of disparate types of technologies/platforms
- Solid experience with a variety of technologies/approaches including J2EE, .NET, Mainframe platform, packaged applications, multi-platforms applications, human workflow, EAI, SOA
