Responsibilities:
- To respond to, and maintain accurate records of, customers requests for assistance
- To review, and as necessary Remedy, defects raised and maintain accurate records of same
- To provide advice and guidance on proposed change requests
- To provide recommendation on technology changes
- To provide work effort estimates for proposed change requests and technology changes
- To design (including writing detailed Functional and Technical Specifications), code/implement, unit and integration test changes and enhancements.
- To participate in scheduled team and department meetings
- To participate in customer meetings organised by the Service Delivery Manager To adhere to applicable documentation, coding and process flow standards.
- To maintain accurate timesheet records
Experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in design and development of eCommerce solutions
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation is essential.
- Troubleshooting, incident management and change management disciplines are essential.
- Personal and communication skills are essential as this role requires significant direct involvement with Fujitsu customers.
Technical Competencies:
- Need experience using IBM WebSphere Commerce toolset (V6 or V7 preferable).
- Experience in customizing WebSphere Commerce.
- Experience in development of JEE Application.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Style Sheets.
- Experience using DB2.
- Understanding of Release and Development concepts and business impacts.
- Understanding of the concepts of Internet security for on-line stores.
