Description
Cognos BI Developer - BI Dashboards project has delivered the bank a class-leading analytic and reporting platform over TM1 data sources. It allows executives and finance managers across the organization to understand financial performance, identify trends and impacts and drive the business forward. This combined developer and analyst role will involve further implementation of Cognos BI dashboards and report packs over TM1 data sources as part of a Management Information Simplification program.
- Develop Cognos BI reports in v10.1.1 according to specification by due dates
- Liaise directly with business representatives to gather business requirements and to define business processes related to the system
- Perform unit testing activities for reports developed, and in general, work with the Test Manager and Global Finance Testing team to ensure appropriate testing has been performed
Experienced professional with broad knowledge of Cognos BI. A comprehensive knowledge of report development in Cognos BI is essential (using dimensional data sources).
The developer shall have:
- Cognos BI report development experience (essential)
- Experience of building Cognos reports over multi-dimensional sources (essential)
- Financial Reporting experience (essential)
- Experience in business analysis or working in a BI consulting role (highly desirable)
- Experience of developing, or working with TM1 (desirable)
- Experience delivering end-user training for BI systems (desirable)
