An urgent, long term contract vacancy has arisen for an EPC Project Engineering Manager based in Aberdeen to work on a Subsea EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) Project.
Contractor Role Description:
The Project Engineering Manager (PEM) is a position that will have total responsibility for the Engineering deliverables and Technical Compliance in an EPC Project. A high degree of importance is placed on the aspects of Management and co-ordination of engineering activities necessary to complete a Subsea EPC Project. It will require an excellent knowledge of change management, interface control and the process's to drive excellence within the engineering function. A high degree of contractual awareness is required.
For this position we are looking for someone with circa 10-15 years' experience in subsea, of which at least 3-4 have been in technical management. You could have previously held the position of Systems Engineering Manager or similar, or in one of the related disciplines for subsea, such as Controls, and is looking for a career change to Systems Engineering.
A degree of travel, both locally and internationally will be required.
