Description

The recruiter is responsible for managing end-to-end recruiting for a variety of hiring managers within the organization. Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and reporting. Acts as the subject matter expert with his/her assigned client group in the areas of behavioral interviewing, workforce planning, recruitment strategy, and labor market demographics. Partners with the Human Resources Business Partner to provide top-notch recruiting services to assigned client groups.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:

Manage the recruitment process for specified business groups:

The Recruiter will be talented at sourcing qualified candidates for all positions.

The Recruiter will work with the appropriate hiring manager to define the specifics of the hiring requirements, will set a proposed schedule for the interviewing of candidates for the opening, and prioritize current openings in order to meet the proposed schedule. The Recruiter will conduct thorough screening of potential candidates to determine the top candidates for the openings, based upon skills fit, behavioral interviewing, technical interviews and functional interviews, as well as conducting any other currently approved screening methods. Part of a successful screening process will include measuring the candidates' interest level, compensation match and culture fit for the job opening.

Manage the hiring process for specified business groups:

The Recruiter will present several candidates to the hiring manager for an opening and will work with the hiring manager, in order to provide a sounding board, second opinion and interview coaching as needed. The Recruiter will manage the expectations of the candidate throughout the process and coordinate any conversations with current employees the candidate may need to have in regards to receiving a realistic job preview. The Recruiter will debrief candidates and hiring managers in order to determine issues that need to be addressed, questions that need to be answered and interest levels of both parties in order to move the process forward. The Recruiter will prepare the candidate for the offer, which may be extended by the Recruiter or the hiring manager.

Develop candidate funnels for current and potential openings:

The Recruiter will work with the Hiring Managers and the HR Managers to prepare for potential openings utilizing sound workforce planning techniques. The Recruiter will determine the most appropriate (and possibly discrete) methods to recruit for those openings in a proactive manner. The Recruiter will use a variety of sourcing methods for recruiting candidates for all positions, including Internet advertising, employee referrals, networking, direct sourcing, internal transfers, job boards, job fairs, open houses and newspaper advertising among any other methods that may prove successful. The Recruiter will be well-informed regarding the marketplace and be able to successfully communicate differentiating factors to candidates in order to develop interest.

Provide interview training to the field:

The Recruiter will provide training and coaching to hiring managers on up-to-date interview techniques and methods as needed in order to assist in hiring the best candidates available and reduce turnover caused by oversights in the hiring process. This will also include teaching specific strategies and techniques to assist in closing desired candidates, negotiating compensation, providing feedback to hiring managers to ensure potential issues identified are addressed in the interview process. The Recruiter will be an ongoing resource to the Hiring Managers in problem-solving during the hiring process and will provide analysis and feedback after the completion of a hiring process (on an as-needed basis) to Sr. Manager on any training that may need to be addressed.

Reporting/Internal Systems:

The Recruiter should be proficient in using any internal systems for reporting, gathering data, dispersing data and tracking results. The reports will include managing weekly activity reports as required by the Sr. Manager and/or hiring managers, as well as measuring any metrics needed in order to achieve the company's goals.

Develop cooperative relationships with key team members: It is important that the Recruiter works closely with a very diverse team (HR, IT, Training, business leaders, etc.) to meet the overall needs of the department and the company. The Recruiter should always conduct him/herself professionally in order to maintain strong relationships at all levels within the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years recruiting experience in a corporate setting

Strong work ethic

Experience managing projects

Good planning and organizational skills

Flexibility

Ability to use influence effectively to achieve goals

Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively provide innovative solutions

Self-directed, goal driven and results-oriented, with good follow-through and follow-up skills
