Job Description:

- In this position you will install PCs, operating systems, and software applications.
- Responsible for building and deploying roughly 700 desktops and Thin Client devices in use at the location
- Works independently on tasks to build and deploy devices, but gets active guidance from more senior technical resources within the location team;
- PC setup;
- Basic PC and peripheral repair;
- Basic network connectivity troubleshooting;
- Basic software installation processes; and
- Follow unit procedures for attendance and accurate time reporting.

Qualifications (ie, years of experience, education, specific skills and Work Conditions):

- Basic experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting and repair;
- Works well as part of a team;
- Receives coaching in an open manner;
- Demonstrates acceptable communication skills in a consistent manner;
- Learns technical topics in an effective manner and uses team members effectively as resources;
- Works independently with supervision;
- Uses own time and others' time effectively
- Escalates issues to team members that are beyond their scope;
- Uses acceptable customer service skills on a consistent basis;
- Uses designated reference documentation in an effective manner;
- Uses basic problem solving skills;
- Demonstrates consistent attention to detail and follow through skills;
- Demonstrates eagerness to learn technology;
- Demonstrated self-starter and independent worker;
- Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills; and
- Has the ability lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Additional Skills:

- Computer hardware experience.
