Description
Our client is a leading telco giant based in the Sydney CBD and currently looking for Service Desk Analysts to join their growing team! This role will focus on providing 24/7 support on a rotating roster to support their internal staff on a level 1/2 capacity.
There are five (5) positions altogether which will be a mixture of either Solaris based Service Desk analysts as well as Windows/Vmware based Service Desk analysts on an initial 6 month period with a high possibility of further extending!
To be considered for this role, you will required the following background/experience:
- Preven experience in a service desk role providing level 1/2 support within a large corporate environment
- Understanding and previous support experience of either Windows (2008 Server)/VMWare based technologies or Solaris (Solaris 10) or Linux (Linux (RHEL 5) in a service desk environment
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to non-technical people
- Preferably, not essentially, have IT related certifications: MCSA, MCSE, MCTS or MCITP
- Ability to work in Australia without a working Visa (Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident)
