Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications. Set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.

Strong knowledge of applied GD&T. Must have in-depth experience in PCDMIS, DATAPAGE+ software. Experience operating Hexagon Global CMM's. Working knowledge with Lietz is desired. Experience with Quindos is desired.

High school diploma or GED - typically required. Previous manufacturing experience required. Skills: Communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage one A's time. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
