C++ Developer - Contract
Niche software house located in Dublin City Centre is looking to recruit a C++ Developer for a 12 month daily rate contract role.
The Role:
The successful C++ Developer will join an existing software development team to migrate applications from Windows and Solaris OS to Linux OS
Responsibilities:
- Migrate c/C++ solutions from Windows/Solaris to CentOS.
- Implement component tests and carries out test runs.
- Investigation and resolution (where necessary) of issues.
- Collaborate with other developers, QA and other parties to ensure high quality software.
Skills Required:
- Solid 5 years Programming experience with C++ programming language
- Excellent knowledge and working experience of C++ development on Linux operating systems preferably CentOS
- Good knowledge and ideally working experience of developing for Windows and Solaris platforms.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of those best practices used on a day-to-day basis.
- Good Knowledge of security technology and systems.
