Category Manager - Professional Services
We require a Security Cleared Category Manager. Candidates without a current clearance should make themselves aware of and be willing to undergo the vetting process.
Knowledge and Experience:-
Demonstrable experience of category management preferable in a PS area
Demonstrable experience of successful negotiation skills, resulting in significant savings and improvements to services
Previous experience managing category changes in a large or complex stakeholder environment
Proven knowledge of developing a category strategy and direction
Ideally MCIPS qualified
Ability to provide commercial advice to direct and influence the team's procurement strategy
Strong Influencing skills
Ability to work autonomously
Good track record of being the subject matter expert and coach on specific areas for procurement as required
Strong ability to build relationships and demonstrate gravitas
Ability to communicate effectively through written documents or presentations
Strong analysis skills - to include suppliers, markets and category research to develop and inform strategic buying plans
