Description
Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of machinery related to fault codes and product health monitoring. Utilize databases and machine monitoring reports to research product technical issues and make recommendations for action. Management of database's to track and identify potential product related issues. Develop process, and tools to proactively identify issues. Obtain technical understanding of related events and downtime drivers being tracked. Provide weekly management reports on product health. Work with extended team, dealers and customers as needed.
Required skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Experience with data management/analytics, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Marcos, pivot tables), Attention to details, Excellent Communication and organizational skills, Self starter with technical ability to identify and solve problems through analysis and information gathering, Ability to code and complete simple computer programs.

Desired Skills:
Statistics experience, Failure analysis/diagnostic skills, Experience with large equipment, preferably mining. Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications. Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
