Description
This is a senior web application developer position in an agile development team and will require working on all areas of the software development life cycle. The candidate should have a strong interest in technology and the ability to learn quickly. The successful candidate must have the ability to work closely with a diverse team of software engineers, DBA's and business partners in a multi-national, geographically distributed environment. They should be an excellent communicator - both verbal and written.

Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical field
Software development best practices, OO design, patterns
Java web application development, Spring MVC, Open Source
Javascript, UI design
Database design and SQL
Agile development practices, continuous build and integration
Strong analysis and written documentation skills
Strong problem solving skills
Experience with the following tools, technologies and practices are desirable but not required, as the candidate will learn these as part of the job:
Linux/Unix Operating systems
Tomcat, dojo, restful web services (XML, JSON)
UI design and development - Flex and Dojo
Hibernate and Ibatis
Automated testing
Collaboration tools such as Confluence
IBM Rational Team Concert
Clearcase and Hudson
Oracle 10G, 11G, Oracle RAC
