Description
Our Financial Services client is urgently seeking an experienced Software Engineer/Developer to be responsible for developing and maintaining existing system solutions that provide business process efficiencies. This will include development of comprehensive IT solutions, writing and testing code, creating technical specifications and where necessary provide input to other stages of the development life cycle eg design, test and implementation.
Skills required will include as many of the following as possible:
- .NET v2, v3.5, v4
- C# Version 3 or above
- Windows Presentation Framework
- Window forms programme skills
- OO Methodologies
- SQL Server 2000,2005, 2008
- TSQL (Stored Procedures)
- XSL, XML and XSD
- Security principles and best practice
- Knowledge relational database technologies
- Database design principles
- Webservices, Remoting, WCF and Windows Services
- Visual Studio 2005, 2008, 2010
Any experience of working within Financial Services particularly developing solutions for the Life and Pensions sector will be of particular interest. The role is to commence ASAP or an initial six months so please send CV for consideration and more details.
