Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Five years in information technology and software development.
Project Description:
-Research team working to guide HW and SW systems to solve the toughest graphics and rendering problems. We build prototypes of new algorithms in order to improve graphics HW and SW solutions.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Setup and configure Servers and workstations for SW prototype development and test and assist in deployment of new Intel hardware to the team
- Design and implement new tests and infrastructure to support the validation of ART prototypes
- Facilitate the tracking and verification of defects associated with testing
- Maintain and improve websites used to track progress and announce new publications
- Maintain and improve configuration management and build systems
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
- Proven track record of server or Workstation hardware architectures and Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience
- Experience testing graphics applications (DX, OGL) and/or GPU compute languages (eg CUDA or OpenCL)
- Solid understanding of SCM and build automation
- Solid software development skills with a variety of languages including C/C++, Python or Java
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
- Self-starter and active team player with ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical people at all levels
- Technical breadth and flexibility to handle emerging technologies and projects
- Positive attitude and ability to react quickly to change
- Experience with exercising performance tests and benchmarks is a plus.
