Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tester who will workwith PKI products for cloud solutions and will manage testing environments which includes installation of CentOS, hardening of it on VMware solutions using Perl or UNIX Scripting, and manage private cloud infrastructure. Responsibility includes Linux administration in software testing environment, work experience on CentOS 5/6, Red Hat Linux, and Solaris 10. The role includes verifying of functional test cases, developing and executing test automation, developing/executing stress and performance testers to define, develop, test and deliver high quality feature components. You should demonstrate solid technical background and commitment towards customers and product quality.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Environment setup of Quality Assurance Team on Cent OS and hardening
- Creating images/machines on VMware cloud infrastructure
- Perl or UNIX Scripting to automate the process of environments setup
- Linux Administration in Quality assurance environment
- Developing and executing functional test cases
- Automate functional test cases
- Involved in all aspects of product testing - functional and non-functional including performance, load, stress, system testing, etc
- Work with other members of the QA team to improve the process
- Analyze and trouble short issues with cloud software and environments
- Demonstrate solid technical background and commitment towards customers and product quality
- Testing high performance, scalable and reliable software product/systems to the highest quality
Required Qualification/Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technolgy or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years working within a Quality Assurance test environment with exposure to full life cycle testing
- Experience on Tomcat, ISS &Iplanet Webservers
- Strong operating systems knowledge and experience on CENTO5 5/6, Solaris10, OS Hardening
- Experience with Scripting skills
- Experience with Application & Web Application testing
- Experience with Test automation tool, selenium would be a plus
- Experience on Load balancers
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Experience with Domain Name Servers
- Experience on Cloud
- Working knowledge of the testing tools like Quality Center, Jira, etc
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of security technology and systems
- Knowledge of identity Management, PKI solutions
- Test Automation
- Knowledge LAN/WAN technologies and a solid understanding of network band-width issues
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- Knowledge of HSM's & Smart cards would be an advantage
