Our Client is looking for a YPTO IT Assistant
Main Responsibilities:
- Person will provide day-to-day very hands-on IT support for the YPTO offices and consultants (laptops, desktops, networks, phones, etc).
- Person will provide day-to-day support of non-SAP applications and infrastructure linked with the NMBS SAP applications, including Servers and end-user equipment.
- Person will provide YPTO and NMBS end user support together with SAP consultants, NMBS process owners, and external service providers for infrastructure, Middleware or application development for a number of applications or infrastructure linked with SAP.
- Person will monitor and resolve problems related to computers, networks and peripheral equipment of end-users (printers, scanners, barcode readers, point-of-sales equipment) and follow-up with of service- or hardware-providers (Ingersoll Rand, ICTRA, KOFAX, ZEBRA,..).
- Manage own issue lists and workload, and provide daily detailed status updates to YPTO IT management.
- Person will help to document and keep up to date the support and application management procedures, and implement this throughout the YPTO organization and with YPTO customers.

- Downtime of important infrastructure components

Knowledge and Professional skills
Education
- Higher education, or similar through experience
Experience
- Good technical competences (Windows, Linux, DBA)
- Good knowledge of server and network infrastructure
- Good knowledge of peripherals (printers, barcodereaders, scanners, label printers,..)
- Good knowledge of infrastructure management tools (Nagios, RealTech,..)
- Knowledge of programming languages (VBA, Pearl, Delphi, PHP, Javascript) required
- Good understanding of business processes and applications, able to set priorities,

- Proven excellent communication skills in written & spoken language NL, FR and EN
- Strong problem solving techniques, analytical, goal-oriented working approach
- Pro-active mindset, hands-on, self-organized, takes initiatives to solve everyday IT problems

- Able to manage various tasks simultaneously, stress resistant
