Description

PURPOSE:

The Seasonal Sr. Sales Associate primarily supports our sales force during one of our heaviest seasons of business (September through December) 2012. Each fall, we conduct open enrollment meetings where we meet with employees to explain their health benefit choices. The temporary on-call sales staff would represent the Full time account management team onsite at employer events. Open Enrollment events occur throughout the Mid-Atlantic States, primarily the greater DC and Baltimore areas. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable in front of a display or table, onsite at employer events, answering questions about health insurance. The majority of the meetings are 2-4 hours a day, and may include the need to conduct a formal presentation to employees. We're looking for seasoned sales and marketing staff that are willing to work flexible hours (including weekends and evenings) to support the annual effort. Health care experience or demonstrated knowledge is a plus. New on-call sales staff will go through an intensive week of training before shadowing Account Managers out in the field. On-call sales staff would have the opportunity to specialize in key accounts, especially those with multiple locations. Reliable transportation is a must. On-call sales staff are reimbursed from mileage at the national IRS rate of $.555/mile.

This is a seasonal temporary position with a possibility of becoming a year round on-call position. There will be a 20 hour minimum guaranteed during our busy fall season (September through November) 2012.
