Technical Skill
3+ years experience installing, configuring, administering Oracle database environments from version 10g and upwards (11g is the SOE) and across Linux, Unix, AIX, Solaris and Windows Operating Systems in accordance with architectural designs and enterprise standards, covering installation, configuration, deployment, migration, performance & tuning, technical support and troubleshooting. An emphasis in migrating from Oracle 8/9/10g to 11g.
Identification and resolution of complex Oracle problems/incidents using a thorough understanding of Oracle architecture and administration, security concepts, application architectures, clustering and high availability.
Experience in the following:
- Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control
- Oracle 11g
- Migration projects
- Streams
- Dataguard
- RAC
- RAT
- Toad
- Putty
- PL/SQL
- Disk and Tape SAN
- NetBackup experience
Non Technical Skills
