Description
As a Senior System Engineer Middleware with WebSphere Application Server and MQSeries experience you will manage the WebSphere Infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Linux.
Responsibilities include:
* Day-to-day support of the WebSphere environments
* Providing technical support to development & infrastructure projects.
* Providing production support (incl. 24x7 standby)
* Provide input to Business Analists and Engineers.
* Testing of new software releases, patches and upgrades.
Your Profile:
* HBO/WO (NL) education level or equivalent
* At least 5 years IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQSeries management experience on a multiplatform environment
* Essential Skills:
o IBM WebSphere Application Server (v6.1 & v7.0) administration
o IBM WebSphere MQSeries administration
o Linux Red Hat basic System Administration
o DB (Oracle)/SQL basic administration
o Awareness of multi-platform environments
o Scripting: Shell, jython, python, jacl
* Desirable Skills:
o Capacity & Performance Monitoring & Management
o Methodical fault finding
