Description
Our Client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong 3D experience to Capture Mechanical design schemes using CAD techniques to produce high quality manufacturing drawing sets. You will liaise with the Engineering teams and provide advice on Mechanical techniques, develop design outlines, drawing sets, produce cost effective design, generate assembly, wiring and other support drawings, create BOM and manage costs and timescales. You will have produced design solutions for Mechanical enclosures for sheet metal, machined and cast. Ideally you will have strong experience of using AUTOCAD INVENTOR or possibly other 3D CAD tools. A background of defence communications equipment would be an advantage. Current SC Level Clearance is highly desirable but you must at least be eligible and willing to undertake the process.
