Description
We are actively looking for an IT Specialist, to support a high profile integration project in the education sector. With expert skills in testing and QA, you will support all stakeholders in the project.
You will be technically strong and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements;
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements in order to plan and implement test strategy
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft products; SharePoint, Excel
- Demonstrated abilities in project management as well as managing people, solving problems quickly and effectively and delivering software applications for release in short time spells
- Prepared and developed the test plans, test frameworks and test scripts/cases for the QA project tasks
- UAT
- Conduct workshops that gathered requirements/stories, offering story point estimates and feedback while formulating tasks and providing estimates on effort.
- Review development code and developed Coded UI automated tests that assisted in reducing testing effort in release cycles
- Reported and validated Sprint Backlog items and defects using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010
- Set up test environments both physical and virtual images as well as test data that included data migrations and upgrades from one system and deployed on another system.
- Produce and examined SQL Server scripts for database analysis
- Database management; analysis, deployment, quality analysis and migration
- Analyse product documentation for technical accuracy

Generate weekly reports for all testing items and updated stakeholders
Desirable;
- Experience in the Education Sector
- Demonstrated experience in integration projects, supporting a variety of stakeholders
