Description
As an Interactive Support Applications Web Developer for our high-visibility client, you will be responsible for developing a feature-rich customer support experience to enable self-service on the web. Partner with Next Generation Tools and online properties to deliver industry-leading solutions that align with Global Customer Operations business strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use web development expertise to create industry-leading, interactive support applications for customers across web and social media channels.
- Liaise with the Contact Center Technology team to align technology roadmaps and ensure technologies are integrated where appropriate.
- Ensure code is performing per specification and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ongoing review of customer support portal technologies for mobile to provide roadmap guidance and participate in new technology selection.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or related experience
- Minimum 5 years Web Development experience
- Technical expertise in the area of Online Customer Experience/Web User Experience including:
- XHTML/CSS 2/3
- OO PHP 5.2.9 or Greater
- Understanding of OO Design Patterns
- Experience with CodeIgniter/MVC or (Zend Framework)
- JavaScript (AJAX, YUI) or JQuery
- Adobe Dreamweaver CS
- Adobe Photoshop CS
- Working knowledge of a broad set of customer support technologies
- Outstanding technical and analytical skills
- Technical leadership experience
- Outstanding decision making ability and ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate and influence
- Experience developing Facebook applications a plus
- Experience developing mobile websites/mobile applications a plus
- Mobile Web Application Development (IPhone/Android) preferred
- Integration of 3rd Party Software into existing systems preferred
- Agile environment preferred
