Job Description:

The contractor provides technical sales support as part of the sales team to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established and emerging company products. Contractor is responsible for consulting with sales partners and customers in selling and supporting company products and systems. Position supports unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities. Contractor provides technical support in pricing, capacity check & verification, order processing, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situation or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Must have ability to understand and explain related technical issues, knowledge of company Ethernet products. Candidate may be assigned moderately complex analytical projects. Position maintains operational processes to support the sales channel. Contractor interacts with management on issues for existing and new customers as well as involvement in multiple, related, and assigned projects. Contractor applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.. Contractor implements plans and actions. Contractor contributes to the strategic plan. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Provide control point on manual sales and implementation process of a new product/platform to provide effortless customer experience. Typically reports to a Second Level Manager. BS or equivalent preferred with 3-5 years engineering, project or program management and/or sales experience.
