Project Context and Position Description

Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) will be enforced in the EU as of 1 February 2014 (for Euro Member States) and by 31 October 2016 (for remaining Member States. The new regulation will cause SEPA payments methods to be the only one that can be used to pay and collect EURO in the region. By the given dates Member States will have to decommission any Legacy national payment scheme in favour to SEPA ones. The project impact at the core of the company's banking capabilities potentially impacting around 20 ERPs and all of the 6 global Primary Banks.
The Change and Communication Manager act as single point of leadership and accountability for all Change and Communication activities on the project. This role defines the Change & Communications strategy in line with Company standards, ensures all stakeholders are informed and in a position to support the project. Any change implications are fully understood and acted upon and the successful implementation of the project is enabled by a professional, inclusive, relevant and well received approach to change and communications.

Accountabilities

* Developing an overall Change and Communications strategy for the project aligned with Company BCIM standards and PDF compliant.
* Developing and implementing a communications plan to reflect all stakeholder requirements.
* Ensuring all businesses/customers for the project deliverables are prepared for the change, support the change and implement the change.
* Supporting the Project Manager in the smooth operation of project governance, both from a business and IT perspective.
* Ensuring Change and Communication is well coordinated with project's workstreams that fall under the direct responsibility of the Business and outside GF.
* Ensuring the effective implementation of the change and communications strategy at each stage of the project, escalating issues and opportunities to the Project Manager.
* Liaising with Central IT Comms as necessary and other IT Change & Comms units to ensure a consistent approach to project change & comms and sharing of best practice.

Key Activities

Focus on Change
* Develop and implement a Change agenda reflecting project requirements before, during and after implementation.
* Work with the businesses to identify their change requirements and ensure sufficient business change management resource is available to support effective implementation.
* Prepare a training curriculum to support the change, set up training logistics and implement training targeted at relevant user communities.
* Survey end users on training effectiveness.

Focus on Communications
* Undertake stakeholder analysis and target communications to the segmented audiences in a timely fashion using the most appropriate channels.
* Develop a communications approach and plan - including a Plan On A Page (POAP) - and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders.
* Develop and implement communications material for each stage of the project, in line with RDS brand identity.
* Establish required SharePoint folders and Web Pages to promote the project, to support team working and to assist stakeholders in keeping up-to-date with the latest information.
* Prepare and maintain a cascade pack suitable for general awareness and stakeholder briefing, along with status reports, project dashboard and material for engagement sessions.
* Establish a process for briefing the Project Steering Committee and any Advisory Boards and ensuring a smooth meeting protocol. Act as secretary at their meetings.
