Description of Assignment:
Technical expertise responsible for the Analysis, Development and Testing of SharePoint applications and system interfaces to meet customer requirements. Individual will be working with a team of SharePoint developers under the direction of a Team Lead and Senior Project Manager. The team focus is delivering solutions based on MOSS 2007 like document management systems, workflow based systems etc. to meet business needs.
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Solid functional and technical knowledge of SharePoint (MOSS 2007) environment in combination with programming skills and experience in .NET and/or Visual Studio.
- Be the liaison between technology teams, SIT/UAT Teams, Support teams
- Document, Review, Execute Test scripts (End to End Dev-INT Testing)
- Drive projects through to completion playing a direct role in development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint applications and interfaces
- Ensure timely delivery toward goals and objectives
- Write clear, concise technical documentation to communicate with the technical project team and the service operations teams
- Ensure adequate training documentation is correct and available for end users of SharePoint applications
- Deliverables:
- - Integration Test Scripts, Summary Report
- SharePoint application Development and troubleshooting (familiarity with ULS logs)
- Other technical and/or user documentation
- Post-production support
- Good Software Engineering skills
- Good communication skills
Knowledge and Experience:
- 4 or more years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and MOSS technologies including web part development, site definitions and master pages, List Definitions, List Templates, Timer jobs, workflows, InfoPath forms, SharePoint designer customizations, SharePoint Administration activities like Deploying WSPs, Configuring SSP and Search, Managed Properties, setup SSRS integrated mode.
- Solid experience in Development and testing end-to-end SharePoint Business Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
