Description
Our client, a large Government Department is seeking to engage a Senior Design Engineer until June 2013.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience designing, supporting and implementation of VMWare
- Skills transfer and mentoring of staff for VM Ware and X86 hardware .
- Extensive experience in the operational knowledge of VMware vSphere and related technologies
- Perform analysis, design, and implementation of VMware and/or X 86 high density computing systems, associated systems software and hardware infrastructure.
- Ability to resolve complex systems problems and undertake appropriate escalation
- Broad understanding of SAN technologies for storage provisioning
